The owner paid attention to every detail to make the home welcoming and so relaxing. There was everything to meet our kitchen needs. The bedrooms were well equipped with extra pillows and blankets. The living room was a favorite spot for our family to gather and spend some much needed quality time together. We have nothing but great things to say and will be returning to this beautiful home again to visit Santa Barbara.

This was such a beautiful home! We had a girls trip and we each enjoyed our time there and it was such a perfect location. At night we walked around downtown and we loved how close the home was. Here are some things we enjoyed about the house: games and books are provided, the house has cookware and basic seasoning for cooking, enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea, this house fits 10 people max and is very spacious. Even though we didn't need anything from the host, I was grateful that she was just a phone call away if we needed anything. We appreciate the wine on the table as well - that gave it an extra touch to our stay. Thank you and we greatly appreciate opening your home to us!

We rented this Airbnb for a group of friends on a cycling trip to Santa Barbara. It fit our needs perfectly. The newly renovated house was tastefully decorated. The location is amazing as it is near all of the activities along State Street. We found the house to be very clean upon arrival and it matched all the descriptions listed. There is a great hot tub in the back that was enjoyable after a long day of riding. We had a very large vehicle and it fit nicely in the parking space behind the house. I would highly recommend this location and we plan to stay here when we return to SB.

Rachael is an awesome host, quick to respond, and very thoughtful. The place is beautiful, clean and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house is within walking distance to some amazing restaurants, and other fun places, and of course McConnell’s ice cream is a must!

We truly had an amazing time in Santa Barbara. The house was great and we really appreciated all the personal touches including the chalkboard and wine. It was also nice to have plenty of towels, paper towels and toilet paper. Having everything labeled made everything much easier to find. The location is awesome. We walked all the way down to the pier and had a great breakfast. And downtown State Street is only a block away! Extremely clean and organized. Plenty of space and plenty of parking. A++

Absolutely perfect home for our girls weekend! The location could not have been better. We were able to walk to the beach, shops, dining and more! The house was warm, welcoming and very organized. Rachel was a wonderful host, quick to answer any and all questions to make sure we had a great time! We can’t wait to come back to Santa Barbara and recommend this adorable home to all our friends!

This is the place to stay in Santa Barbara whether a couple, family or larger group. It’s centrally located, clean, comfortable, well appointed, quiet and all around great. The house is spacious with every last detail thought through. From a warm welcome from the host, to board games, a grill, hot tub, guest book, postcards and more. The house is stocked with the supplies you’d expect at a hotel (shampoo, etc.) but with touches like nightlights and coffee that make it feel like home. We felt very comfortable here - it’s stylish without feeling generic - and would absolutely return. Hopefully we can stay longer next time and bring friends/family. The house seems great for entertaining, but if that’s not your thing, downtown Santa Barbara is a block away and the funk zone is about a 15 min easy walk. The beach is also super close. Highly recommend!

We each walked in and said, "Wow." There are so many wonderful things about this home including the space, the furnishings, the attention to detail with all the switches labeled (great idea) and many more. My family and I had a chance to have dinner and breakfast here before my wedding and I will always have wonderful memories in this home. After staying here once I cannot imagine going back to staying at a hotel. The house was lovely and inviting with a fabulous kitchen. The dining table was large and my family spent most of our time sitting around it and talking. The rooms are spread out well so that each person in our family of 8 had privacy. Also, there was one (beautiful) tub and one walk in shower which was perfect for the older folks to get in and out of easily. The home has ample parking and is a 10 minute walk from the grocery store and a two minute walk from State St. Thank you again to Rachael and La Maison for a wonderful stay.
Location - you can see on map, but literally a block off the main drag so easy walking to all the restaurants, wine bars, breakfast joints, coffee shops, shopping, the beach.
House - beautiful remodeled victorian in great condition. Rachel has invested in the small touches (such as games, photo stand, labeled all the drawers and cabinets). Everything we needed was just right there. It was easy like being at home (only better).
Rachel - we had a question about the TV (one of those high powered multi controller setups with lots of service providers - the problem was user incompetence) and Rachel just zipped over to help us out - on a Friday night. She lives close by. Super friendly and hospitable. Parking - no problem parking 4 cars. Essentially a rave review!
We thoroughly enjoyed La Maison. We were a multigenerational family and stayed two nights for a wedding. The location was convenient to food, night life and public transport as well as a mall. Nice touches like hotel amenities for bathroom including robes. Keypad entry made it convenient for different schedules. Beds were very comfortable and Rachael was responsive and helpful.
